Rhonda Lenair and alcoholism - be introduced to her and her work

Hi angeleyes! Perhaps Rhonda could answer that question for you.

Greeneyes, you say she mentioned "your husband" being a source of your troubles when you visited her. Well, anyone with half a brain could have guessed that.

    That's an interesting observation.

How much of it is real, and how much of it is "you WANTING TO BELIEVE".

For me.... I don't care. Not drinking for a year is as real as it needs to be.

Sounds really expensive with really unproven results, and zero follow up. How many of you who have been therre have received a follow up call?
A follow up call is included and scheduled at the end of the last session.

Wow, I thought I read this thread as a chance to get information. No one ever said that you had to spend money, or even accept any of this as fact. We can all choose to tune in, ask questions or not. Did I miss something?

        My two pennies worth.

Hi all, I have not been on the forum in quite a while. I am too busy with my new sober life. I just thought that I should toss my 2 penny?s worth into the ring.

I went to Lenair kicking and screaming, fully expecting failure. This was never going to work for me, because there just was no scientific basis for such a claim etc. blah, blah. My justification for spending all that money was that I had absolutely nothing to loose as I had just about hit rock bottom and I love Vermont and if nothing else I would get a week?s vacation out of it. The cost was far less than my annual liquor consumption and it was a bargain compared to some of the facilities that I had looked into.

Anyway, to make a long story short. After my first session I had no cravings, none, nothing, nada. She also touched on other, very deep rooted areas of my life that needed attention.Rhonda Lenair still makes no sense to me whatsoever. I am beginning to think that everything we need from the universe is already there, we just have to find a way to ask for it. It is within us and somehow she opens or shuts filing cabinets within ourselves that enable us to function on a ?pre-addiction? plane, sort of like going back to the ?factory setting? we were born with. Does that make any sense?

As I have said before in some other post: There are myriads of things that cannot be explained through our present level of comprehension. Perhaps in the future we will all be more enlightened. Just sit still and try to quantify infinity. It will prove just as difficult as wrapping ones brain around the undiscovered spiritual human potential that apparently is still untapped.
It never hurts to keep an open mind, otherwise we would still believe the earth is flat.
I am looking forward to the 11th.

Since it has worked for at least one person(YOU)then it is worth at least listening to. No cost, no harm, and nothing to lose. But for those who are not interested they should just not read this thread.
PS...I hope you all is well with you!!
PS....I will be on vacation in Key West but will look for the recording as soon as I get back.

              TimeToChange,

Am I not allowed to ask questions or express thoughts? Or is that only available to you "Lenair Success Stories"?

              That was really uncalled for.

I think the chance to ask questions was the purpose of this thread. I am not a "Lenair Success Story" so I was also just expressing my thoughts,

Yes, and I think that was what my post was. Asking some questions. And sharing thoughts to get feedback from people who have BEEN THERE. Sure, asking Rhonda questions will surely give everyone the answers they are looking for - THE MAGIC CURE - but is it really that??? From the sounds of it, it doesn't seem like their success rate is all they crack it up to be.

One more question - if that is alright with T2C - how long after the initial session is the follow up call?? One month? One year? One week?

I don't have any experience with Lenair, let me say that upfront, but I think an open discussions of pros and cons is good, just like with the medications section. Would be nice if that could be done without insulting people who comment or defensiveness either.

There does seem to be a strong psychological component to alcoholism. I know some people have a psychological realization overnight, it might even be triggered by a post here, and they just change, they just quit. And it seems like baclofen is working by acting on the anxiety that causes alcoholism. It seems possible that some people could be healed by a connection with someone who sees the root of their drinking problem.

Sometimes hypnotherapy works for addiction and Alan Carr's little book on the EasyWay To Quit Smoking has helped lots of smokers to quit. It sounds so simple but the psychology of it really makes a lot of sense.

It's a lot of money to pay to go to Lenair so it seems like it might be the right cure for certain people for whom that amount of money is not a big deal, so a gamble is ok. For the rest of us, I feel pretty sure there are comparable or better cures that don't break the budget. But I am really glad it helped some of our members so much.

Hi Nancy! If you are interested, perhaps you could ask Rhonda about a "sliding scale" of fee?

"It's a lot of money to pay to go to Lenair so it seems like it might be the right cure for certain people for whom that amount of money is not a big deal, so a gamble is ok. Nancy, your post makes me feel like I need to post my tax return to defend myself. Or confess to that armed robery, or admit that my behavior was so atrocious that the neighborhood took up a collection.:H I assure you "that amount of money" IS a big deal so you can remove me from your category of certain people. I am glad to have spent the money to my benefit than on yet another year of booze (in actual dollars) and all the emotional, spiritual, and physical damage that goes with.

Please allow me to redirect. I would like to see this get off the ground for the people who are excitedly expressing interest. We can toss around Lenair issues later. This is simply aobut a phone telegathering.

I'd love for you to listen and ask questions if you wish! It is free.

To answer the question about a follow up call, as another Lenair success person. YES, a follow up call is / was part of the / my protocol. I believe mine was a month or 6 weeks after my sessions, although, I believe it was more for the purpose of Rhonda "intuitively sensing" my physical body's state and needs, and how it was adjusting to my post alcohol routine and suppliments - tinctures (which I did not buy from her) Rhonda made further suggestions as to other adjustments that were needed. I have called with other questions and requests in the past 16 months, never with an additional charge, I might add. Love to all, Best

Also, we need 100 people to get this off the ground. So if you're toying with the idea, or thinking "eh, I'll just check out the replay on the computer", there will be no replay if there is no telegathering. So, please let me know if you're interested. LSS609@live.com

                            just curious

Greenie if this is free why does there have to be 100 people to listen? What difference does it make if 2 or 100 listen? The message is the same correct?

And I wish AA was as scrutinized as Lenair seems to be!

And yet AA has worked for a select few also.

And no program @ all has worked.

There are many paths to a AF life.
