    Day 27

Day 27 and I am not feeling well. Its just the runs but I am using this as an excuse to not to drink.

We had a bad storm not to long ago too that helped me stay away from the bars.
I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

    Day 27

Hi Drifty, sorry you are not feeling well. I just logged in here to remind myself not to drink. AL, that is.

Hang in there -- you've just got 3 days until day 30, woo hoo! :goodjob: You'll be feeling better then too, I'll bet.

      Day 27

I doubt thats its the AL. I get the case of the runs every now and again for no reason and it only lasts about a day.

        Day 27

Hey Drifty - great job on the 27 days!! You go, girl.

The runs come and go, very quickly. Guess that's why they're called the runs and not the loiters.

          Day 27

Would the loiters be constipation Tawny?

Fantastic job on 27 days! Sounds like your body knows what it's doing, and you are right in that drinking would probably aggravate or prolong it. I think our bodies to a terrific job at eliminating toxins and the runs is just one of the ways. Try not to see it as a negative thing, but rather your body just flushing the junk. Keep feeding yourself health and as mentioned before... only 3 days to 30 days!
