OHHH how exciting, would love to get some fish again, I used to breed goldfish and had tanks all over the place. Do you know what sort of filter you have?
We need a serious chat about setting up a new tank or you will kill all your fish..
All to do with ammonia (from fish poo) and the bacteria that eats it and makes the water safe for your fish, You'll need to start of with only a few fish and change 25% of the water every week until the bacterial colony builds up.. Will take about a month before you can fill your tank with fish.. You'll need to buy a chemical to de-chlorinate the tap water and you'll need to change the PH and Hardness of your water to suit the fish that you choose....LMFAO

You can put some of the filter media from your existing tank into your new filter to speed up the bacteria growth..
