It's the first day of Spring in the Lucky Country!

    G'Day me little Sugar Gliders!

The Kanga has got a little spring in his step today. I will tell you why. The bloody sun is shinin', big mobs of flowers are out, the blossom is on the trees an' I tell ye, it all just gladdens the old Kanga's heart.

    This is one stoked Kanga!

first day of spring, huh? So we ARE exactly opposite. Cuz it's looking like very fall-like weather here. I even made a pot roast 2 days ago (Shas, it was great! did you ever make one several months back?? hee hee!) I just ordered bulbs for some spring flowers..... nice to think about. For now, we here in Ohio have to enjoy the rest of the dwindling summer, bring out the sweaters, and get ready for the cold weather.
    Enjoy your spring, Kanga!

The old Kanga's right again ... it doesn't get much better than this!

Acacias heavily laden with blossom and bees; daffodils and blue grape hyacinths nodding in the breeze; red and purple tulips exposing their delicate throats to the sun; fat little lambs gambolling on the hill; the first opening buds on fruit trees ... everything is green and lush and filled with life and promise.

So the blue singlet is on, the mower is fuelled and I'm outta here. There's 14 acres calling my name.

Yes Kanga, your joy is palpable.

        Hmmmm....

In Honor of the Blooming Spring, I've Changed My Font to Green.

The fall is pretty, but I hate the days getting shorter, and except for getting to go skiing, I hate the cold.

I want to come down under and get to have spring and summer again.

But I fear I'll have to learn a whole new language!:H Enjoy yourselves!

C'mon down Kathy! We can always use more sheila's in Woop Woop. What with the fish gutting, bottle opening ... you know the score. Poor Tawn's fingers are as raw as a prawn with all the graftin' that's required of a fair dinkum Aussie sheila. If you can tee up with Tawn, she can teach you all she knows, too bloody right.

Thanks Becca, you enjoy yer pot roast now.

Would anyone mind if we kept these at the top for this week? Bump

I can't bear to watch them fall off the first page just yet.
