Doctors Appointment.....scared

I have always been very healthy and don't have a regular doc. With getting older I guess it's time to find one I like and build a relationship. I did see an urgent care doc a week or so ago when I was really freaking out. I was surprised at how honest I could be. My biggest fear is if it's serious. I think that's what is holding me back. I'm probably overreacting. I'm feeling a bit better today.

AK ... Just wanted you to know I feel exactly the same way as you do. There were several times I'd made an appointment, or planned to make one, only to get scared and not do it. Even when I finally went the first time back in Feb., it was mainly because I was freaking a bit. Like you, my biggest fear is if it's serious.

Hang in there and try again ... and keep trying ... and you'll get yourself in that door. Getting there is the hardest part, I find.
