Yes, it is an amazing site. I have had more sober time since joining than I had in the 5 years prior to joining. I have to take off now Mario. Hope you have a great day. Nice chatting with you."Decide-Which Voice in Your Head you Can Keep Alive" (Shinedown)

Hi All,
I am in Florida with little time to get online.....I will sign on Sunday to really catch up.
Seabers, Good to see you and I'm happy you are busy with job prospects and such....you sound really good!
Oney, Get thee to the Dr...pronto!
Starty, Did you get your freezer?
Gyco, Always a pleasure having you here.
Mario, You sound as if your world is rolling along quite well...keep up the good work.
This is WORK isn't it? Although I don't feel any cravings I know I need to meet each day with positive decision making skills. I have to make alcohol a non-issue in my daily life. Some days I think about drinking just because....some days it doesn't even enter my mind. That tells me it is not something that disappears. So far, I am making the right decisions but I have to be ready for that unexpected moment when I get that feeling that alcohol might be kinda nice.....it's not, pure and simple.
I hope eveyone has a great, sober day! Krigs"People usually fail when they are on the verge of success. So give as much care to the end as to the beginning." Lao-Tzu

I am enjoying my time with the "little ones", although last night was a little hairy. My son and dil had just left to meet friends. I stayed to babysit with both children safely asleep in their beds. No sooner had they left both kids woke up. First the 3yo and she was crying for her parents so that woke up the 9 mo old. It took me 2 hours to get the older one to sleep and 1 hr to get the 9 month old to stop screaming. I was ready for a bif stiff drink by the time that whole thing was over, believe you me!!!
I am babysitting for a week at the end of September and it made me give that job a second and third look! It was really tough...expecially with the little one screaming her bloody head off. She had some pain somewhere...you could tell-probably a tummy ache. I love them so much tho....it is amazing to feel so much love even when they are crying at the top of their lungs."People usually fail when they are on the verge of success. So give as much care to the end as to the beginning." Lao-Tzu

I am on top of things Starty. The kids went to Animal Kingdom today and I am alone in the Condo. I have work to do but the place is nice and quiet. I need to get packed and ready to go. Tonight I have a hotel room just outside the airport-my flight leaves at 6:15 am and Mom thought it would be better to stay right next to the airport to avoid someone else having to get up at 4am to take me. The airport isn't that far from here but this arrangment will be easier for everyone.
Tonight we're going to a Boston Seafood Feast restaurant. All the lobster, crab, shrimp and fish you can eat. My son says it's fantastic so we will be enjoying that for our last dinner together. I will load up on lobster until I am blue in the face!!!!"People usually fail when they are on the verge of success. So give as much care to the end as to the beginning." Lao-Tzu
