August will be a AF month for me. I will join in the fight. It won't be easy, but with college starting back up I am not going to have the money or time to drink that much if I was still drinking.BUT PRAISE THE LORD I AM NO LONGER DRINKING!

Scary Image Lukalee. Count me in too AKgirl. I have ordered the Baclofen too. If we start around the same time..we could keep track of each others progress. I have cut down quite a bit in anticipation. I'm hoping I won't need a very high dose to lose the cravings.

If you drink try to remember to think, think, think before you drink. You may decide you don't even want that drink...you don't want to go to "THAT PLACE"...where the beast awaits! SCARY

Hi all,

I'm with you on the worrying what i'm doing to my body ak,
On day 2 only but had a real scare with stomach pain last night.
I really thought i would have to go to er with alco poisoning.
Having 3 kids i don't need to be lying in hospital having my stomach feckin pumped..Thankfully it passed but scared the shit out of me.

I also say things like 'i deserve a wee drink,im a good person and the like.
But i am a good person and don't need to poison my body any more.
I deserve to be a healthy 33yr old,not some waster who spends her time planning her next drink...and getting pissed.

We deserve an af life,
Not one spent hungover,depressed,shaky,sweaty....etc etc...

We are all here for each other...we CAN do it!!!
