I used to *praat the Taal back in the day....Waaaay back in the day...we lived just outside Jo'burg for 8 years back in the late 70's...bloody gorgeous country you have!!
Although I must say..I do prefer Durbs to Cape Town

We left in 1982 and have not been back since:upset:
I would dearly love to visit but have heard many horror stories esp' about Jo'burg...I cannot believe how things have changed....I had a part time job in Hillbrow.(pizzaland) used to work the late shift..finished at 2am.I thought nothing of walking thru the town after work..I felt as safe as houses...
I want to remember the SA that I knew...I'm getting all emotional now:upset:
