    I have 2 things to tell you Oney..

    Firstly, I've just ordered black pudding online, from Ireland, for me and my Scottish mate, who believe a fry up is not complete without it... (Don't worry, it's vacume packed)

    Black pudding here is a travesty!

    And secondly.. About 30 little blue fish arrived this morning (as per my avatar)

    They are less than a 1/4 inch long and VERY cute..

    How are you and Rob and the wee sick ones?

    Will it ever end?

        Hi there all...
        So HSE is NHS right ?
        I imagine if pharmacists are privately owned businesses they can close if they wish ( not defending them here )

              Yes Bridge the same thing as the NHS, its the Health service executive. The pharmacists are privately owned but it is a closed shop situation and new ones trying to open are potentially blocked. It is one of these things that will change along with many things here that are under going being dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century.
              Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

                      I have to say that the NHS here in Australia, is totally awesome...

                      The UK and Ireland are well behind.. You can be in real trouble and find it hard to get help..

                      That doesn't happen here... At least not in Melbourne..

                            The HSE is the gov body, the pharmacies are privately owned and recieve payment for dispensing drugs under the medical card scheme (free to people with them) and the drug refund scheme (the rest of us) The refund scheme is capped to E100 a month for all drugs. The dispute is because the gov want to pay the pharmaciest less. But it will have to happen, it is only the tip of the iceberg for cutbacks across all sectors. The country is spending way more than we can afford and are getting into huge debt. The pharmacies are of course regulated so no scullduggery, I hope.
