Tip,
Are you at work right now? I find myself posting in the mornin before work and going in late every day....that is a habit I need to resolve. It's 8:45a and I am sitting here with no make-up and wet hair!"People usually fail when they are on the verge of success. So give as much care to the end as to the beginning." Lao-Tzu

I am eating out of pure stress these days and can't seem to stop...I have a crisis at work that will continue for at least 6 months. I have to learn to get through the crisis without food just like I learned to get thru w/o AL, right? Sounds so easy. I know I need much more water throughout my day...that will be a start. I bought a lot of boneless, skinless chick breasts yest so that should be good too. I think I can make an effort to lay off the sugar also (after I get rid of the stuff I stashed at the office).
DW is on a constant mission to try and keep her weight under control (unfortunately I'm the opposite!). Subtle changes in your eating plan can make a huge difference - I'm the cook in the house, so I've learnt over time. One big thing is to cut carbs and sugar, and include more proteins, veg & some fruit. More smaller meals spread during the day, as well as timing what you eat at what time of day helps a lot. E.g. carbs like oats or low-GI bread at breakfast only. Also take care what you prepare things like your chicken breasts with - go for herbs, spices, garlic, and avoid pre-packed sauces and the like...
OK, not quite a complete diet plan in one post, but I can give you some menu ideas if you like.I'll do whatever it takes

Tip,
Thanks for the tips (Tips from Tip-that has a nice ring to it!). I BBQ chicken with very little on it....I do love marinades but I know I should go easy on that stuff. I eat quite well, for the most part but lately the sweets have been killing me. I eat ice cream every nite after a late dinner. That habit has to stop. Actually we are out of ice cream so I will refrain from buying more. Hubby is really skinny and loves his ice cream tho, so if I continue to buy it for him I just have to stay away from the freezer after dinner."People usually fail when they are on the verge of success.
