ah thanks Oney, I asked the mo in law to mind he kids for my 40th birthday night so me and himself could stay in a hotel the night and have a day and night out and she went nuts! I mean I NEVER ask her to babysit, I think it must be 6 yrs since she did, she rarely comes over to see the kids, WE RANG A FORTNIGHT AGO TO see would she like us too call and she said she was too tired and the pisser is she minds another granchild full time and takes her for weekends and stuff and her daughters kids she sees alot but im ok with that...lol1 Your daughters kids are different!

oh she said it depends on what shes doing at the time, cant commit herself, woudnt dream of picking them up or dropping them top school(I wanted them to go to school as normal) and considered me very , very cheeky for even asking. I told her I never asked her to do shit for me or my kids, shes clearly uninterested in having shit to do with us and I wont make the mistake of asking her again!

Sure if she doesnt want to spend time with her grandchildren I would consider it a big loss on her part. Sad really, some poeple would love to have grandchildren to spend time with. Ah sure it takes all sorts.
