Army thread 12th August
Oh, was a fantastic morning.
I really felt I learnt a lot about the physiological effects of alcohol. I learned that at my level of drinking it would have been advisable to seek help with detox....that was scary...I met with a number of health professionals from my area and realised that there are many more addiction services out there than I realised. Also I got chatting to my future tutor.
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience...and I got a certificate :-)Living now and not just existing since 9th July 2008
Nicotine Free since 6th February 2009

I'm doing good thanks Starts.
You must be learning so much -- so exciting.
Why is it, do you think that you didn't know that there were so many addiction agencies out there? Were you not looking in the right place or are the agencies not getting themselves out there where the people really need them?"The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it"

It is exciting Deebs. and its something that I feel very comfortable with...unlike IT...
In truth, I shied away from professional help due to past experience. But I also think its marketing or lack of it. That is something that they are going to look at and an area I may be able to help with.Living now and not just existing since 9th July 2008

I'm also well, thanks - no complaints, despite despicable weather! Our two kids are both home sick - they've got flu. I think they're enjoying not having to go to school! At least they're staying with my mother-in-law, so my wife and I am getting some quality time together! We just visit them on our way hoem from work in the afternoons. That way they don't have to get up early.I'll do whatever it takes
