What DW said Annie. I'm glad you're taking librium, which will negate a lot of the withdrawal effects. I was unable to take it because it made me feel just plain weird. Apparently I am one of the few. So now, I have a crapload of librium pills in my medicine cabinet that will just sit there.

Good luck Annie, do take care with the antabuse, it works well, but make sure you do not have any alcohol in your system or it will make you very ill.

Annie, just got back and read this ............ hope that you and your children are all OK .......... seizures are really scary (my daughter has epilepsy so I have seen plenty) ...........

Anyway, well done on getting the librium and antabuse ..........

Annie ........... Since finishing the librium I haven't taken anything else and 'touch wood' no major cravings yet!!! If I do then I will be straight to my doc for antabuse ........ how are you doing now???? xxxxxx

Can't believe you are able to type and stay focussed through all of this.
When I had my seizure I bruised so badly on my face that the paramedics thought I had been bashed with a baseball bat. Then I had 2 more fits in the ER.
Can't believe I have found this site with people going through the same stuff. What a blessing the www is, even though not often.
But reading all the supportive messages is just great.
