Feeling bad today, because I almost forgot to wish my husband Happy Birthday this morning. Was too busy obsessing about some stupid Raki my parents brought back for us from Crete. I can't believe I was thinking of drinking a bit before coming to work. Glad I didn't.

Yeah - the things we do for AL... I remember very little about my own b'day this year - it was on a Saturday, and I started drinking when I got up (around 6 / 6.30). The rest is a blur...

I'm just annoyed because I think I forgot because I was drinking last night. I wanted to wish him Happy Birthday the moment he woke up.

Of course I hadn't actually forgotten his birthday. I had his present and card ready hidden in my wardrobe. I'd also hidden all the cards that had come through the post.

But because I was late remembering, we had to rush with the cards and the presents before going to work.

So I ruined it.

No, actually I'm not. A colleague couldn't believe it when he caught me looking at vodka on the internet. It was about 4 years ago. I'm careful not to look at booze on the internet because it makes me crave.

Hi Squirrley Girley,
I AM positive! I may get canned but I'm giving it the good ole college try! My numbers are not going up fast enough so I may have numbered days, who knows. I am stressing a little about getting a life insurance policy sold before the end of the month?!?! Trials and tribulations of being in sales in a bad economy (with pretty high rates too boot!). Oh well....
