      What I do is very akin to what you alude to. I am a consultant. One of those dreaded breeds you see running around in airports with laptops, weird objects stuck in their ears and talking to themselves.

      I am with you. The Baclofen has helped me to finally get sober enough to figure out that now I have some real work ahead. Thank God for the Baclofen but my journey is just beginning.

        Reg. In my experience, the thought pattern's/ habits become less and less of a focus, the more af time we put in, as our brain very slowly repairs, and hopefully does some rewiring. But, i think we also need to do the day to day work, to kick things along.

              I totally agree Mr g a pill aint the totall solution but it helps with the CBT and meditation works on thought patterns as those constant overwhelming craving thoughts in the initial stages of sobriety are supressed dont interfere with the real important behavioural and cognotive changes that are so important for long term health
