    7 weeks

I made it 7 weeks without getting drunk. I know if it wasn't for my faith I would still be drinking. I wouldn't of even attempted to quit if it wasn't for my faith. And you all helped me make it this far without drinking (excluding the one beer I had weeks ago.) I haven't slipped since and I feel real good about it.
I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.

Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.

Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.

    Drifty,

You are doing so well. I am very proud of you.

I agree, faith is such a help for us who have this problem with drink.

I am working on my faith and I am glad you have yours to see you through.

    Take care,
    Cindi

Ty all for the kind words. Your thoughts and wisdom has helped me get as far as I did and it will definitely help me out in the feature. I will definitely take this forum with me on my mini vacation. I can feel that next weekend is going to be a tough one for my quit. BUT I PLEDGE NOT TO DRINK!

Oh and Mstall I see that your planning to quit smoking. Http://www.quitnet.com has helped me quit smoking. Its a great site and its for free. There are some things that you pay for but those are extras. Good luck on your quit in smoking. And like drinking, taking it a day at a time helps.
