    Evening Punters (and rooters)
    V. productive (and happily sober) day had here. Busier than a one - legged river dancer as they say in the trade.
    Today's 'Arrested Development' moment ?
    I actually had 'words' with the woman who works at the fruit and veg place because I mucked up/disorganised her capsicums.......Jaysus.......never mind the starving and diseased masses.....feck em .... as long as yer feckin capsicums are in order, OCD girl....

      Bridget:H:H:H:H your hilarious.. Are you serious the veggie chick had a go at you for messing up her still life painting with veg.... gee Id find another retailer of fine veggery and fruitery. ANY way doing those dishes has knackered me Im exhausted the site of rubber gloves is making me weak in the knees off to bed with a fine read. Good nite

          Evening all!
          A grand day to start the week, had here, with no rooting, and no fruit or veg issues, but the night is still youngish. Bridge, what do you do with your capsicums? I love getting a few, covering in olive oil, and throwing them on the barby....Magic!

            Hello Mr G force.
            What do I do with my capsicums ?....preferably without harking back to last night's conversation.
            Well you can stuff them with rice and veg. My personal favourite is either dry roasting them and either serving hot ...or skinning and serving them cold in anti pasto, salad, or miriad other uses. You can even crush in mortar and pestle add garlic, sea salt and chilli and add to a dip or use as tapenade.
            BUT..... if you stick em in a curry...they are scrum-diddly-umptious. Put them in at the beginning, just after you cook off your spices.

                  Whether I saved universe or not today, isn't really for me to say, but i like to think i've made a difference somewhere. Err...Sweet potatoe? I made a great coconut/sweet potatoe sort of African style soup thing once. Turned out feckin grand. Sweet potatoes are very good for you too.

                    Have you tried them roasted ?...then cold, cubed and put into a salad with all manner of things....rocket ,tomato, caramelised onion (roasted or not) lemon and pepper dressing...basil......
