Tip - I'll email my essay when I'm finished! Basically, (I think!) maths teaching has changed so much it can be difficult for parents to help their kids, but I'm looking at the US and Oz, not SA....and this is all theory, I have yet to get into a classroom!

(and I still can't do my 7 or 8 times tables)

It was a good day in one way and not so good in another.
One guy had a seizure through alcohol withdrawal. It was shocking.
I guess I am going to have to get used to that arent I?
