    Army Thread 23 August

Yes, it makes it so much easier when she comes here, my neighbour's dog comes too, plus the groomer brings her too. So we end up with my two Standard Poodles, the groomers two standards, my pug and my bichon, the neighbour's portuguese water dog, and now my standard puppy, so that makes 8 in total today.

Thank goodness it looks as though it will be dry and they can be outside.
I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you.

I've go 5 now starts, my neighbours think I am mad, but then they don't like animals much.

The poodles have what is called a sporting clip which is basically a number one with a fluffed up tail and top knot, plus little booties.
I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you.

        OMG, what a houseful!
Poodles certainly take a lot of care on the clipping front dont they?
So, you have 5 dogs? Wonderful! You must have lots of space....

I love poodles too. I looked after a minature one once for a few months. I have always wanted a greyhound though...

The poodles are clipped about every 8 weeks, I don't do much in between. I've got a really large kitchen and quite a big garden. I'm lucky too that the garden gate leads onto a bridle path and from there to fields, so that's where I take them.

I take them out together but not with the puppy yet as she's so young, that's when things will get interesting!

I've watched a lot of Cesar Millan and learnt a lot from him.

I'm planning to move to somewhere in the country, perhaps wales, when my younger daughter goes to university next year. Then I would like some land for the horses.
I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you.

Poodles are really sensitive and love people.

My friend has greyhounds, rescues as most of them are. They're lovely dogs.

Yes you are lucky, I live in a small village and the walking is great, but I tend to take them out separately to save me being dragged about. They tend to go into pack mode together.
Cesar Milan is wonderful. I really do try to apply his methods to my dogs.
Wales is beautiful, that sounds like a wonderful dream to pursue.

I used to take the neighbours standard poodle to dog agility , it was a beautiful dog. There's too many breeds of dog I like Poodles, scottish terrier, bedlington terrier, Irish terrier (the list goes on and on)

I have only ever had rescue dogs and these have been mongrels. Most of them seem to have a bit of Collie in them. I have one proper Border Collie now who is totally nuts! But I adore him as only a mother could :-)
