    THE NEXT DAY THREAD Wednesday 26th Aug.

    Morning.
    Won't say 'good'.
    Wind ripped through my garden like Epsom Salts last night.
    It's a massacre.
    Have the flu.
    Stayed up til 11pm making stupid arsed cup cakes for school fundraiser.
    Missing this morning, with suspicious trail of crumbs leading to the retriever's bed.
    Not even a wrapper left.
    Just as well I'm not a morning drinker.
    Bridge.
    If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

    Morning Bridge.
    As in early hours of in this part of the world.
    Wont say good, been up 19 hrs now trying to finish a job.
    Why do I take these crazy deadline jobs on, oh I know, to pay the morgtage.
    Feeling tired but healty, no flu.
    Hope the poor dog survives a big feed of your baking. Check his teeth.
    Very bad weather forcast here.
    Off to bed soon.
    Hardly ever a morning drinker either, except when nearly dying from very bad hangover TG.

        Hi mates, i left the digital outside watching pets play!
        took pic's of my plants started from seed. they are HUGE!
        heat wave is lesser in America. its been bloody hot as hell. !
        so tired, my floor here is filled with chewed up stuffing from
        pups playing. shag on.
        one ripped the voice box out of a zebra.

          God. Every time I stick my head out there I see something worse and scream WTF and run back inside. I might just sit here and rock for the day.

              Hello Irene, I dont know which I would prefer. Prob the bad rain.
              Bridge I prefer the 'au natural' unregimented look in my garden, that way it is hard to know when any damage has been done, bar maybe finding a tree fallen through the garage roof.
              I now have a picture of you being found in about a weeks time crouched up in a fetal position rocking to and fro and muttering something about flower beds and cup cakes. I do feel however that Tawny is made of strong stuff and will manage just fine.

                What a day was yesterday I agree we all should move on...however please allow this small indulgence after feeling the hurricane wind nearly lift my 1979 Datsun Sunny off the side of the bridge as I was on my way home from work ...i sensed impending doom.. Sure enough I walk in to a new lake in the back of house ( which has opened up since re stump was done) what a friggin mess...to boot got first quote in the mail from one builder I went weak in the knees...has come in close to the nations combined debt....however on a positive note I would have normally reached for the bottle...however as i now have zero physical cravings thanks to the bac I was able to pinch my bum cheeks together and get on with the clean up..i do feel for tawny however it must have been heart breaking but agree with ~KTAB she is made of strong stuff...anyway move on thanks for allowing this indulgence...Thank god for sober

                  Irene...I remember when my dog was a pup......all I can say is that I am glad he has grown up....well sort of anyway.

                  Tawney.......How are you doing girl?
                  Well the weather here has brightened up lovely, I just hope I dont get your wind, I hate the wind
                  Well I have packed the boys off to school and I have to go back up there again soon so that my youngest boys can have his photo taken, I took all your advise and left my middle boys black eye alone, like you said this is one school photo I wont forget.
                  Well I hope you all have a great day and that the wind dies down for you

                    Just on my way to bed now. I hadn't read any threads for a couple of days now so it has only dawned on me that the weather has been very bad down under. I hadnt realised, so sorry if I made light of anybody having suffered damage caused by it.
                    Now I am going, before I put the other foot in my big gob too Night/morning all.

                          I finished 'Ronnie-ing' my house yesty. Now I just have to lock the boy and mad dog outside and it should stay that way.
                          1979 Datsun Sunny. I had one of those in yellow I think. Absolutely thrashed the thing.
                          Good luck with the clean up Reg. I think it's just an East coast thing Ronnie. Believe me , you do NOT need this weather.
                          Anyway all calm now.....well the weather is anyway. Yes please to the rocker Ronnie.:H

                            Hello all,

                            In need a major slap. Very emotional and grumpy today and ABSOLUTELY NO JUSTIFICATION FOR IT!, none at all. I have no major worries or dramas but am still in my Jammies at 1pm. Hormones I think. I just need to shower and go off and do the food shop, but it seems like a major task. Ridiculous but real, and to make it worse I feel really guilty about feeling this way. I know I do get the odd day like this, will have to start and note them down to see if there's a pattern.

                            Crawling back into my hole.
