So, what would be a course of action for someone that far gone?
Well, if they want help, its there, if they dont? Well, there isnt alot anyone can really do apart from treat them with some respect and offer services and help when and if required.
    It is very sad sometimes.
But then also you get the success stories. A lady who was very distressed and drunk last week came in after being sober for 5 days!! Now that was lovely to see

      Will that improve with time?

No, this is purely an addiction centre. There are other welfare facilities for the homeless. The people I have met so far are all in the system and have places to live thankfully.,

Do you or are you allowed to offer suggestions on what supplements etc they should try?

She was in a real dark place mentally when this pneumonia hit... I thought she really wanted to give up :upset:

Starty, I'm glad you get to see the success stories as well. That must make it so much more worth while. You know, I'm really not for censorship in any shape, type, or form.. but sometimes I really wish that AL wasn't so easy to come by. Again.. back to SOMEBODY is making a lot of money...

I dont feel in any position to offer advice like that right now. I managed to talk to one of the counsellors about baclofen the other day and they were very interested. But for now, I am the total newbie and I am being very careful what I say.

                            Grrrr!!

                                Hey grim one!

Hmmm... The plumber didn't turn on the geezer :scratchinhead:

Here, 'geezer' is usually used as a term for an 'old guy'... so the plumber did not turn on the old guy... if you ask me, that was probably a good thing!:H

Sorry, your soak will have to wait a bit, Deebers!
