The doctor perscribed me Pregabaline a few days ago to help me quit within a week. I decided to do it quicker. They are impossible to overdose on (at sensible levels) I was perscribed 75 mils a day and have taken about 500, feel very very dosey and almost no cravings at all (i wouldnt recommend going out on them, as i've lost all co-ordination, and am finding it very hard to think straight) But it worked! I've cut down from 50 units to 5 in a day

They are also used to prevent CNS brakedowns, so its completely safe, and very very counfy!

Its like the whole world has turned into cotten wool! Laid down earlier and just sank into the bed!

I dont work for the company or anything like that just thought i'd mention it. They appear to be miricle cures!

Interesting read! Thers slight tolerance issues, but it appears to be much safer than valium and zanax.

Pregabalin is effective against behavioral and electrographic seizures during alcohol withdrawal

Another good read! It APPEARS to prevent seizures. I definatly dont feel close to a seizure

Joe, are you sure that it is safe????

You are given a weeks worth to do this gradually because that how long it takes to do it safely

Please be very careful, I don't know much about this but if you have taken a whole weeks worth in one day it is possible you will still have AL withdrawal tomorrow and also withdrawal from this drug which could be ver dangerous..........

I understand your desire to beat AL but if there was a way to do it safely in only one day then none of here would have a problem.

Lyrica is addictive and not advised for addicts. You should NEVER post it as a mircle cure!!! You are a dumb ass for taking 500mg in 1 day. I venture to guess that you will never post again... Find another forum...

well not really... Joe, you must not continue on this path. what is the point of giving up one addiction for another?
it is important to ask for help and then listen to your doctor's advice regarding the prescribed dosage. For certain if you show up within the week looking for more you are not going to get it.

Please, please be careful. Lyrica truly is addictive. I was in rehab with several people addicted to it and their journey back was difficult.

Stick with your doctor's orders and don't try to cure yourself in one day. Recovery is an ongoing process. A good one, a difficult one but one worth taking on.

Pregab is a very safe drug OD wise. I understand the addiction problems, but I will taper myself off pregab asap.

I wasnt recommending it, just please that i'd done it Alchohol has been killing me and my family recently.

Anyway, my family are happy
