        What was that 'lounge' place you know ?......the ..something lounge...huge 30's style armchairs...really comfy... great at the end of a huge night as the sun was coming up....

          Lounge place.....can't recall at the mo, but that doesn't surprise me. There's a photo of me and the band outside that gig, me with a can of vb, a double scotch, neat of course, and a glass of port. BJesus! Thing is, my drinking got worse, and cause for concern, a long time after those day's, so, problem drinking, and or alcoholism can be, and usually is progressive.

            Yep .... it's weird isn't it ? I wonder....when was the moment it crossed from being good , hedonistic fun.....to being just a boring -arsed problem drinking thing....It was SO glamourous back in the day.....

                  It wasn't hard for me to make the transition from rock and roll muso party boy at and after gigs, to 24/7 drinker later in life. I just enjoyed getting numb. I still have no idea why....you know, ok childhood etc....Of course, a couple of tragedies 10 odd yrs. ago, and there i was....any excuse for lot's of drinking.

                              Morning ND Threadian's, our friends from all over the world, you in the wing's, and Cindi.
                              A little bit grey here, but the sun should shine alater. Dreamt of St. Vincent hospital nurses in training, and slept well. Hang in there Jonesy, and remember why you are doing this, alway's.
                              Updated resume yesterday for a crack at some other work just a bit more meaningful than truckdriving, if that were possible, so swinging into action on that front this week. Yay!
                              But humble co-threadian's, is this all about me? Moi?.....Sadly, no.
                              So, a safe, sober, and magical day to youse all!
