Happy lunchtime everyboddddeee!!

I'm a fowl not an owl but I'm not allowed to get out of bed before the possum comes in or the birds start singing. This now happens around 5am'ish. Best alarm clock ever.

So by lunchtime, I've done heaps on this brilliant, warm day. All the usual weed, mulch, split, stack and mow so this arvo I get to do a 'reward' jobbie - PAINT! Yay!!

Mr. Guitar Man, Thankyou. I've copied your reply in my MWO folder. I think I might just go the extra couple of weeks so I can experience what you are.

Tawny, Just come back from Patrick Clifford in Wollongong and have ordered some serious Ilve cooking appliances and a super duper Qasair range hood. I can have the oven (which is a floor oven) set at bench level so I don't have to bend down and kiss the floor to get the roast out ! I've just blown the entire kitchen budget on a stove and cooktop!!

Rags tee-ball is like baseball but instead of the pitcher throwing the ball you hit the ball from the tee, its a game for the little kids.
I must admit im worn out after today and yesturday and I have a tee-ball committee meetting tonight and they usally go on till late, I just hope I stay awake
Cant even have a nap as my eldest has his friend round.

OK so since we talked about it I've been wondering the last couple of days if Barons is still open, is it still the same?" etc etc. So today I'm reading a restaurant review in the Good Living section of SMH only to come across this "It stands on the site of the old Baron's nightspot, which, depending on how you spent your youth, you will either remember, not remember or be incapable of remembering" :H :H :H

OK - I don't often do 'serious' but I figure we're at the half way mark.

Spring and September has touched our hearts. Are we happy with where we're at? OR do we need to pull the finger out?

Sounds like you are hard at it with all that chop, mulch, stack stuff... ahhh I remember the country life so dear & yet so far! These days am exhausted by daily airconditioned corporate crap sandwiches... far more exhausting & debilitating than anything I ever had to deal with in the fresh air.

I am away for about 10 daysish.. looking forward to catching up more when back.. will be off work for a bit (looking forward to that part). Also looking forward to resuming natural sleep pattern as described by Tawny - awakening to animal noises rather than alarm clock. So glad to have been able to lurk in here with you all - even if I din't get time to post so much - I DID check in daily as promised.

Wishing heaps strength to all and hope you all build on that momentum that spring is bringing as I am. Looking forwards also to renewing some old friendships & making some new ones too.

Fickle - are you going in for your op now? I'm sorry I don't keep good records of dates but I know you're going in for total hip replacement.

I so want this to be the end of your debilitating pain.
