A whole new building has been built on the site, apparently. It's a restaurant (fancy one by all accounts) The reviewer said he was standing out the front of the building wondering when the restaurant would open when "one of the cities more colourful & aromatic characters walked past and barked '6pm Wednesday'" I love that one of the cities rough sleepers knows more about a hot new restaurant opening than a restaurant critic!!!

An overcast Wednesday, but no rain!!
Hi Angel, just read the Good Living, so now I know what you're about. I might copy the {ear almond and blue cheese salad into the receipe corner.
Attention cat lovers.... have a look at the cat and the crow thread. poor quality video but a lovely heartwarming story.
Off to clean up the house for the new owners to inspect, so will catch up later this arvo.

Morning All. Ronnie I'm jealous I LOVE Bunnings.

Great excitement this morning we've had a pair of giant Hornbills flying around the Condo, fantastic to watch. Am just going to look them up and see if they're native or if they've escaped from the Birdpark.
I'm also meeting a couple of film students this arvo with a view to letting them use the apartment as a location for a test shoot this weekend, they'd dropped hundreds of flyers in the mailboxes as they're desperate. I reckon if I do this it'll give me some good Karma to help balance out all the bad thoughts I'll be having about my mother in law. I was thinking about letting the students set up for when she arrives from the airport - lights camera ACTION!

Ronnie, I was also interested in bamboo flooring so went to a local flooring place and was quoted $110 a square metre laid. He suggested I go with my original idea which was to limewash the cypress pine in the kitchen as it would be a fraction of the cost.
Bunnings and Howards storage are my 2 favoutite stores.
Ooooh Sweaty, does this mean we'll see your apartment in City Homicide or Rush?

Rags Bunnings has it for $75 mtr2 and I have a very clever hubbie so he will be able to lay the floor down, I dont think I have a Howards storage near me...

Not even 12md and I've used every power tool in the arsenal......and then I'm of to...............BUNNINGS..................I bloody love that place.
What is it about this place and maintainance ? It's a black hole of effort.
