better than whippersnippers Bridge,as I can't bloody start THAT.
I have to jump start the ride on from my car though....
I do have electric hedgeclippers & they are a godsend.

Bridge, also, is it moist?..The mower i mean. If it's wet, or been raining, spray some WD40, or RP7 on the spark plug, and inside the spark plug lead. In fact, do it anyway. (if sanding plug doesn't work)
Anyway, shouldn't you have a hand mower Re- Gen woman?

OK girls - these are all 4-stroke motors. Let's try this: Pull the chord gently until you find some resistance. You have now reached the point of compression. Now release the cord and then give it an almighty pull - the reason is you're at the 'buisiness' stroke and you haven't wasted cord pulling going though the other three strokes of the four stroke cycle.

Get it?

Very late checking I have been busy all day
Bridge have you tried pushing in the rubber thing at the front about 5 times, I forgot what they call it now, Just to rub it in, I have a petrol mower and I have NO probs in starting mine....ner ner.....lol
