    THE NEXT DAY THREAD, September

    Agreed Tawny.

I gotta turn the 'puter off...interference & all.
    Have a great night all.

Geez, that it really rude, cutting then poisoning the jasmine. Someone did that to my Cissus antarctica about 4 months ago. No-one knocked on the door and said it was a problem ( it isn't). It was done in the dead of night too.
Hey Tawny, why not sell/give away the exotic fish and get some native fish. God knows they need all the help they can get as they are being decimated in the wild. I have Pacific Blue Eyes which lurve to gobble up mozzie larvae.
Ronnie, I am sorry I haven't been keeping up with this thread as I'm often away from internet service days at a time. What does Mr. Ronnie do?

        Ahh, Angel,
The southerly came through here about 90 minutes ago, so you'd just be getting it now.. It was only a very quick front, and not a lot of rain after it.

          Evening all!
Well, Universe still seems to be here, so Waves and myself must have made a difference to someone, somewhere, sometime. The fish story was as rivetting as one of my posts. Amazing.
Hang in there Betty! Pump it up Coach Ronnie! Angel, DDriver on sat. sounds good. You'll still have a great time, even betterer. I reckon we just get stronger, and develop effective, coping strategies naturally, when af a few times in a party/al environment. Defo a worthwhile exercise. For me, in such a situation, i seem to have less and less fear of alcohol, i learn to place less value in it, through showing myself i can still enjoy a party/social gathering af, if that all makes sense?

I'm lucky to have wild jasmine growing over the fence. I love it!

I shall, and must go forth. Out to my fish pond, which i'd forgotten i'd had. Fred is orange, and a sunfish, i think. He doesn't require feeding, just munches on the weeds. He's a chunky little fella. Smart too.

                    THE NEXT DAY THREAD, September

                    Hello all,

Just woke up to yet another rainy day in the southern U.S. and started reading your posts.

Tawny, your story is amazing on many levels. How did you aerate the bathtub? Did you use a pump? It sounds like you are finally getting some water on your property, yippee!! But, I do think that fish having memories is fascinating, especially when you consider that a lot of those fish grew up in a bathtub.

Betty, So sorry about the MIL and hubby situation. This, too, shall pass.

                    Hi everyone else.

No light here yet and dog wants to go out. I have to chain him up because we have no fenced in area for him and I don't like to do it when I can't keep an eye on him in case other dogs/creatures wander over. I am finally tired of the rain we are getting. My usually hard-as-a-rock mountain top property is saturated. I can only imagine what it is like for the folks down in the coves.

Rereading tells me that my post is about as exciting as Tawnys.

But I did want to say hello to all.

Oh dear ... perhaps I should do my thinking quietly.

I promise not to bore anyone with my fishy tales again.

Nighters, all. At least I didn't make it on the list of the 20 top bogans. A shallow victory.

                        Hey Tawny!
My dad had two common goldfish that he won at a fairground about thirty years ago. They were in a smallish tank all that time. One died of unknown causes about three years ago and he just recently gave the other one away to a man with a new pond and it's changed colour, from a light bronze to the bright orange of it's youth.

I liked your fishy tales tawny....

I used to have a pond, I inherited it from the people who owned the house before. There were a number of huge goldfish in it, bought as little scraps from the petshop and ended up thriving in a natural outdoor pond. There was also various Koi carp in there too....beautiful and so peaceful to watch...

Smack her across the ear with your rolled up cooking magazine......
Let's throw her off the south side of Tawny's fish pond.....Ok that MIGHT be going a bit far.

Are we sure the pond's big enough for all the arseholes ?
                              Maybe another extension Tawny ?
