Seriously, I just wanted an excuse to use that funny Grandpa....I've never tried the raspberry ones.

But please, not before early next year so I can join in.
Rags you make cheese?? I was trying to find a little drooling face but found Grandpa above instead.
Count me in on the cheese tastings...
BTW we had a blue, a hard creamy white cheese, and a goats cheese last night with a handmade fig paste...all fabulous but I loved the goat particularly.

Looks like it is just Ronnie and me voting for the raspberry ones!!

Hope all you Sydney-siders (and those on either side ....... cant remember who is in Kiama, but one of my favourite places down the coast!) had a better day today. We got the weather front as it passed through .... but nothing more than a normally bad day in Wellington!

Worked at home today and was very lazy. Got about 2 hours work done!! Also had long bath (with exfoliation, moisturiser, fake tan); cooked up a storm; spent some time with my mum (this was good - she is 85 and her health is giving out on her at a rapid pace at present, so I feel like I dont have much time left with her); and went to chat for the first time in about 6 months. I really like working for myself and being able to do this every now and then without feeling too much guilt!!

Hmm, yes and you're a Kiwi and Ronnie we can put it down to a quirk from her old country.

I'm glad you got to spend time with your Mum...must be a trying time.

Was 'Pink Lamingtons' a question on Ronnie's "Become an Aussie" test????

They should make it a mandatory question. Bugger the coat of arms or who discovered Tasmania or what are the words to 'I've been everywhere, man".

The question re the origin of the pink lamington is of utmost NATIONAL importance.

North Island - Wellington. I love Kiama!! Some years ago when I was based in Sydney I had a very good friend who lived in Kiama and worked in Woolongong. I spent a bit of time there and remember it very fondly (and I had my best eye brow shape ever there!!!)

Apparently Teen2 has broken his wrist, but managed to make it from school to hang out at the mall for a while before ringing me. The cynical part of me is thinking he just wanted a lift home, but if he needs a hospital visit that's an evening without MIL for me. yay! If he's ok I'm making Jaffa Muffins - orange and chocolate chip. Am doing therapeutic baking.

I think Aunty Mame wins the 'nicest way to spend the day' competition today

                              Bets.
