Day 4 today...thought about just one glass of wine but didn't go there(we have none anyway). However felt a little guilty because I had the thought - that sucked.
Bridge - Jake on the Rafters reminded me of my first real boyfriend, God that boy was hot but his mother was unbearable.
All: a pho is a traditional Strayan soup(via Vietnam)...beef broth, vermicelli, bean sprouts, mint & coriander. I got the idea when I googled 'left over roast beef recipes'

Bridget how your foot today???
My body feels like it has been run over.....the other side of my foot hurts now because I am putting my weight on that side, and I have just given up on my back...... but hey life still goes on, its a bit weird tho, just sitting or lying around is something I never do, but I must admit I could get used to it, perhaps this is a way of telling myself to slow down a bit, well it has worked.....

It's official, people!

I just heard the first Blowie of Spring! Yay! And it's supposed to get to 24C on Sunday. I may faint with joy.

How are our little limprichauns today? I've had the bestest workout. 5 hours of solid liftin' and shiftin' and shovelin'. My arms are better than Mrs.Obama's and almost as good as Hugh's.

Afternoon all! Not completely caught up, but I have to share that long ago I looked like Ms K Minogue (same age/height), this conviction only wavers when presented with photos or a mirror. I avoid both and continue to wear my sparkly hotpants with the utmost confidence and conviction.

Why is it when we 'clean up' that we notice so many rude , obnoxious and selfish turds around us ?
Could it be that they were always so, and that we didn't notice it because we were pissed or hungover and/or couldn't be arsed with the confrontation ?

I think its because when we drink, we ourselves dont care about anyone else but ourselves thats why we never noticed rude people before now. If that makes sence........

It does make sense Ronns, and now that I have my cuppa I'm remembering how incredibly obnoxious I've been myself at times when pissed off my nut.
The foot is just bruised Ronns, but has an amusing tool shaped raised mark on it. I'm just glad I don't say 'Made in Switzerland'.

All of the above, Bridget. What Ronnie say's, and i agree with the couldn't be fecked with the confrontation aspect. Also, for me, the memory was usually gone of idiot's soon enough, as al took it's course. But i could still feel and think enough to get wound up too, in which case, i might dwell on an idiot for a couple of day's. (Not so much these day's) But, to summise, people who are pain's in the backside are just being who they alway's were, (with respect to them and their journey, and i wish them well and Godspeed) but sure as hell stand out like an ageing lead guitarist's ball's, when we get off the sauce.

Hello Ronnie, Bridge and G. Glad to hear theres nowt much wrong with the foot Bridge. As for your observation about rude people Bridge, for me it was that I avoided others as much as possible so they wouldn't smell the beer breath.
