ah kidz! I only have furry/feathered ones - again my lovebird resides inside my dressing gown, what a sook.
I've been ok but I just gotta wonder - where does work end & life begin? It just seems at the moment everything is SOOOO busy,I can't see light at the end of the tunnel.....ergh.
And you? Been raining? We might get some tonight/tomorrow.

THE NEXT DAY THREAD, September

Good Morning Everyone
Thank you for all of the valuable information. I will be making the most of my newfound gormless info.
Mr Guitarista- without a Google search I believe Ayers Rock is red correct? I have not been there as it is far in the middle- but I have been to Brisbane, Sydney and Port Douglas and loved them all. And don't even get me started on my love of New Zealand- was lucky enough to live there for a couple of years....
Yep- I love me some Antipodean culture. A trip to Bunnings Warehouse, a pie and a lammington- a perfect Saturday.
Can't get those here in La La land.
Have a good day all.

How nice to wake up to a post from Sheepy! Hope you keep visiting us - you're bound to learn things of great importance.

It seems everyone was in fine form last night and we all retired at a sensible hour - bloody legends. Terrific amount of rain yesterday but next year's wood is filed away and dry.

Don't yet know what I'll get up to today.

Wishing you all a happy POETS day Attached files

Morning Tawny, and all to come,
Happy poet's day indeed. Where are you Waves, and how are you?
Impressive wood packing Tawny. I presume you roll it to an under cover area?
Sheepish, hello! Partly correct. The Rock changes colour's though.
Angel, sorry to hear of your friend Mick's tumour. How is he now? Dr. Charlie Teo, (i think his name is) an Oz brain tumour surgeon, said that he ALWAY'S, after initially answering, put's his mobile on speakerphone, as the jury's still out on mob. phones and brain tumour's. If it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me.
Have a magical day all! x

Geez Tawns - that looks like a humungous stack of wood!! And so neat!!
Bridgey Jones - S'good to laugh at ourselves sometimes.
G-Force - I had the luxury of not having a mobile for about 18months recently. And after using one again my ear got really sore & I was very sensitive to the heat coming from it. No good at all I say. That Dr Teo is so amazing, what a guy. Not sure how Schmick Mick is...must call my sister& find out.
Good to see you back Reggie - and clearly in fine form!
Big smoochies to the rest of youse.

I'm off to beg the childcare centre across the road to take my deposit...it's late. I'd offer them favours but they're Baptists...

Tawny, i reckon you are going to absolutely go off, this summer. I predict wild, pink dress sojourn's to Melbourne town, on balmy saturday night's, having your way with all and sundry, then pulling out from your city pad, of lust and sin, in the ute on a warm worry free sunday morning, with a big smile on your face, cheeks a'flush, and your dress, sweetly aromatic with the nights delight's.
Sweetie, are you high??

Angel - I think he's suffering from a strange condition known as "fret buzz", common among guitarists.

HELLLOOOO am in the manic phase of MIL countdown. T-24 hours till touch down.

I claim ownership of the white shirt thing, but am so happy to have shared the effect (affect?) please please try and get hold of 'Hope Floats' ladies, sh*te film, but does have a fantastic white shirt/stetson scene. Any other recommendations for WHITE SHIRT scenes would be welcomed.

Have lost my mind and am letting a bunch of film students use the apartment for test shoots this arvo, they're using 16mm film apparently. Am building up good Karma. I need it.

Have finally unpacked the last boxes from our move 18mths ago, will probably be packing it all up again soon as we tend to move every two years, but it feels great have chucked out so much crap.

Tawns - that's a very aesthetically pleasing woodpile.

Have a fantabulous arvo/evening
