    THE NEXT DAY THREAD, September

Hello hello. I'm going to check out the orange dust piccies in a mo.

I wasn't in the mood for revenge shopping, (not yet anyway), but have started to stash money just in case

Am off to 7pm Yoga tonight (1.5 hrs) and Mr S can make dinner. Have rented some movies to helpn fill the deafening silence, Marley and Me, Beverley Hills Chihuahua, and some chick flick with Bridge in it but not as bridge. I think I've aimed at just the right level. Made lemon and sultana muffins yesterday, dense but tasty.......

Tawns I liked your fish anecdote, we have big koi in the pond at the condo, they stalk the chihuahua and completely freak her out.

Aunty Mame, can we have kitten pics??

Although I feel quite vitriolic towards Mr S and his Mother, it's tiring me out being evil and mean so I'm just letting go. Last visit I was on the Gin by 3pm, so I think its progress!

    Take care all

    Bets
    xx

Still called Ginger at this point .... related to themes that we have for each litter!! This lot is VIBGYOR which if you did high school science you will be familiar with as an acronym for colours of the rainbow. (Rainbow was mum cat's name) Anyway Ginger is the "g"!! And she is the only one with a real name at the moment ..... as the only one with distinctive looks! We will allocate other names as they start to develop looks and personalities that are distinguishable!

But we really like the Tigger name and next litter we may have an AA Milne theme!!!

Far out you guys - the Sydney pictures look down right scary. Is it clear yet?? Would send you some wind if I could! I have a brand new (3 months) great niece in Sydney ... talking to her mum (my niece) this morning and apparently she and other babies in her neighbourhood (North Shore, but low income North Shore) developed some respiratory symptoms overnight that are keeping the medical centres concerned.

Betty - will send kitten photos as soon as I can find the feckin cable to link the camera to the computer. They dont do much other than sleep and eat at the moment though! Have I ever told you that one of our adopted cats (my birthday present) is also a Betty??!

Also Betty - soounds like you are over the deafening silence. Time to kiss and make up?? (with Mr SB at least - I''m with everyone else on the MIL debate!!)

I won't enter the ""where were pavs invented" debate except to say that Tawny's historical research skills are second to none! But is it "lamingtons" or "lemmingtons'? And how do you make them with raspberry outsides instead of chocolate ones??

Oh we have wind Mame ! I think what we need is a good drench of rain ....round here anyway.
I had to keep my boy off school. We were recommended to 'use our discretion' but it was suffocating. We weren't to exercise outside (this in my first week back on program), but mainly I was worried about tree limbs falling in the playground. So my boy and I have been 'amusing' each other all day !
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

You sound like a great mum, Bridge. Had a similar sky to your red dust one, when the bushfires hit here early this year.

Oh that was FAR worse of course .....must have looked similar I guess. This was just a weird phenomenon, waking up with strange orange light coming through the bedroom glass doors
                          I'm going to be a better Mum G force.Thanks.
