Just off to buy a dog basket for the kittens ... they growing so fast (and there are so many of them!) that they dont fit the usual cat-sized one!

thanks for all the support from people re my Mum. They are keeping her in hospital until she is stabilised, and are working really closely with me and the one sibling that lives close to put in place a support plan that takes into account not only what Mum needs in order to be able to do in order to be able to stay at home, but also what people around are able to provide. Like - she has a completely full freezer of food, but she needs the de-humidifier emptied every day (too heavy for her). Anyway, I just reckon that we are dead lucky to have a well-functioning public health system. Dont mean to get political, (and just did but deleted it!!)

Another beautiful day here ... I was going to work all day but I need some chill out time. And no I didn't go silly on the wine last night - too exhausted!! 1 glass and I was out like a light! But I still dont have any illusions about being able to mod. Daylight savings starts overnight ..... and I have a commitment to myself to be sober all the way through summer and out the other side.

You know, secretly I love it when I don't have to go out.
Especially when it's pissing down and everything's called off, and you legitimately don't have to go 'out there'......'not leaving the house' is one of my favourite phrases.
