WEll, I haven't been around for a couple of days as Sat night was disaster of distastrous proportions. It's taken me until now (Tuesday morning) to get my head straight enough to post...or even read. I might post the whole disaster on it's own thread so as not to bore you all here. It's knocked me around big time and I was planning to do AF October but I've started already...Day 3 today until the end of October (at least) Guys, this will be my 3rd attempt and I'm quite nervous about it...however, I am closer to the feeling grateful for not drinking rather than feeling deprived (this may be challenged on Friday night though)
I saw that Mame wanted to do it on another thread - Mame...you still in?? I'm gonna need you babe.
Anyway, good to see everyone else in good form.

PS My brother went psycho last night (again) & tried to beat up/kill my Dad & my other brother. My dad called me late to warn me he was ranting about needing to speak to me, and that he might come to my house...and to call the police straight away if he does. So I moved the fridge in front of the back door and slept with my phone. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to find out the crazy brother topped himself last night. Seriously, that's something I might be dealing with in the near future.Comment

What a horrible thing for you to have to deal with!! I mean,you can pick your nose & you can pick your family,but you can't eat your family!
I've never had to deal with any of that shit Angel so won't sanctimoniously pretend I know what you're going through,but I reckon there are many on here who do. And seeing as you've been here a while,I'd say you know the amount of support coming from here is immense.If you're on day 3,that's 3 ahead of me.
Keep positive as much as possible.
Your brother sounds fairly ill & in need of help.
I hope all in your family get the help & support & love you need right now.
