BTW, Neil Armstrong is from Ohio! Just ask Determinator -- Cleveland, Ohio is THE center of the universe! (Neil is not actually from Cleveland, but from a small town in NW Ohio, near Toledo, OH if you have heard of that.) The Wright Brothers are also from Ohio (Dayton, down near Cincinnati). So our license plates read "Birthplace of Aviation." I teach my ESL students this stuff, and they eat it up.

But even I grew up watching those clips with amazement. Time Magazine recenly had a feature on all the astronauts from that period (I think it coincided with the anniversary of the first landing) . Made for an interesting read. All of us could easily identify with Aldrin, of course.I'll do whatever it takes
