today's plan
Thanks for your responses. My plan today is to go to gym class around 4:30pm. That is often the time I have my first drink. It's the after work scenario where my husband and I sit down together to chat about the day's events over a few drinks. Usually a friend comes over on Tuesday evenings to join us for an hour or so. Following that we usually prepare dinner and have more booze.After dinner I'm O.k to stop drinking and I'll watch T.V. for a while then clean up and prepare for bed. So it's probabaly a 2-3 hour period within which I need to work on changing my behaviour. It's not the same everyday as I'm a nurse and work shifts. Tomorrow I start at 3pm and home at 10pm. I often use booze after a pm shift to get to sleep so I can get up at 6 am for an am shift. I think i'll try warm milk and something to eat instead.
I have tried naltrexone but it didn't agree with me.
will let you know how I go.
