Near where I lived in northern CA, there is this place called Squaw Rock, on the Russian River. Legend has it there was a squaw that had a faithless lover that married someone else. She carried a large stone and jumped from the rock with it, landing on the couple below, killing all 3 of them. This was at one time mostly Pomo territory and I think she was Sanel.

Puddy, and all, civilizations come and go on this planet, and, again, we have to learn from their best. We have only today, after all, and we all want it to be the best day. I have always felt so connected to the earth, to nature, and it is soothing when everything else feels like chaos. I feel like I'm a part of something larger and doing my small part in preserving and passing it on to coming generations to come is SO important to me, since I want my grandchildren to understand where they came from when they are planning where they are going.Don't be discouraged, or look back so much, Puddy, at what was done wrong.
