    Army Thread 7th September

Good morning, bestest friends. It happened again last night. I dreamt in threads. A short dream, un-fecking-fortunately... I was hitting CTRL + F5 periodically, the soft glow from the computer screen enveloping me in its warmth, typing my responses. The mysteries of sleep deprivation confound me... Have a wonderful day, one & all

Good morning Tippers and all to come. Not much sleep myself either last night but that was due to the wee one deciding to join me in the bed at 1:30am, she kicked away last night whatever she was dreaming about. Suns out here this morning so heres hoping it stays that way. Hope everyone has a great day, even if it is a Monday.
Mario, hope you get the news your waiting on today.

        Hey, Opes

Well, my Monday just got off to a crap start. I was involved in an accident on my way to work! Mrs. T and I are both fine and the car is just a car, we can have it fixed. We've agreed that she'll be doing the driving until my sleeping patterns return to something resembling normal... We were in stop-start traffic and I dozed off at the wheel, and drove into the back of the vehicle in front of me. The bonnet, grille and bumper will have to be replaced. Luckily the other driver was a nice guy...

Anyway, I guess the week can only get better from here on in I could have made a much more serious accident whilst driving under the influence...

                    Hey, Birdie

Luckily I have comprehensive insurance and even an excess waiver, so it won't cost me a cent. A good thing too. Judging by the cost of Jeep parts, the damage is likely to be in the region of R30 000...

                    Ah well, onward and upward...

                            Hello All!
                            Glad you're both OK Tips.
That 'excess' nonsense always pisses me off. What's the point of being insured if you have to pay out of your own pocket what you're already paying for?
The start of another week and things are going well here.
No drama or major worries. Just getting along fine.
I've a 30th birthday party on Friday night. I'd as soon go to the dentist, but I've known him since he was a tot so I'll put on a smile and make up the numbers and get stuck into whatever party food there is going.
