Hi. I've been testing chat today and everyone I've spoken to says it seems to be running smoothly. Of course if they can't access it, I won't know!

I do have an issue I can't seem to resolve and it's got the tech folks puzzled, as well:

When I visit this site using Internet Explorer, the "FlashChat User" window on the bottom of the page (beneath "What's Going On") currently says the page cannot be found. It's been this way since we moved to the new server and displays improperly on two of our three computers. One works just fine.

All three computers, however, show real-time chat users when I launch with the Firefox browser. All machines are running Windows XP.

The tech guys say they can see it just fine--we've traded screen shots--and I've emptied my cache and temp files, which can sometimes causes the problem.

Can some of you please report to me (here on this thread, so I can point tech support to it) what you see when you go to the main page here? Do you see who's in chat--or not?

Page can not be displayed since moving to new server.

I can access chat fine but can't see who's in chat.

I am using MSN browser with windows XP.

I just assumed it was a glitch that would resolve with time?

Hiya RJ, i cant see anyone in chat....It dosn't even show the rooms...Its blank.....Last night i went on chat and i could'nt see everybody who was there....I had to pass a messege to Bambs through Lucky....It was weird....I use internet explorer........Good Luck..........Macks

I can see chat but after further investigation have discovered that it looks like nobody is in there when in fact they are...i use windows explorer

i can see RJ is in the room on the main page and me , but when I actually go into chat I am the only one there.
This started at about 2 am -ish this morning ( UK time - so 22 hours ago )

I am on AOL

Final report (for now)

Thanks, everyone.

If you were having problems earlier and can jump into chat right now, please do. Bambino and Lou, you especially, since it wasn't working earlier for you. We may have it fixed.

Until we can get it figured out in the next week or so, just ignore the pesky duplicate "who's online" at the bottom of the main page. We've installed a functional application in its place, but it'll take some time to kill the original.

Same thing - What's going on? Flashchat users - the page cannont be displayed-

HI rj - it's happening again - Lucky is showing on the main forum page as in the room , but when I go into chat I am the only one there. It did work earlier before though, but then froze - I think it was about 3 or 4 ish UK time.

Just thought I'd let you know.
