I say go for it!

I started off playing the bugle at school, then trumpet, and later trombone. Thinking back, it was great fun! Even though we mostly played things like marches, "Hello Dolly" and the like, it gave me a feeling of exuberance...

No word from boy yet Tips but he was at another party on Friday night and not much sleep was had so I'm not expecting to see him yet. The joys of teenagers!

Just got back from teh keys yesterday had an absolute ball!!

for the first time in ages, I stayed out until 2am, listening to music, chatting to strangers and I was SOBER!! It can be done folks!!

Mrs. T and I talked about that in the car on our way home last night. The restaurant we went to is in one of the lively nightspots in Cape Town. The whole area was pumping by the time we left at 11.00.

We were very thankful to be going home rather than to a nightclub...

I just read about your night out and finding it boring. I know that feeling only too well. But the last few nights have been a revalation to me, still doing what I love i.e listening to live music but being sober and able to cope with it and actually enjoy myself.

Zen is grand, she got some antibiotics and is doing great. For her too it was a first having sober fun. The people watching was quite amazing there are a weird and wonderful selection to oggle at the keys :-)
