      I haven't had a panic attack since yesterday, on new drugs. So it looks like I can definitely be on the October AF bandwagon. :yougo:

        OCTOBER CHALLENGE...

        I would like to join in too please, I had 1 af day this week then thought I would manage just 1 glass, didnt , I really am going to try this, what an acheivement it would be!!so want a bigger challenge and people doing the same thing at the same time, sorry I'm waffling,

          OCTOBER CHALLENGE...

          HELLO OCTOBER AFers...

          I am really delighted to see there are quite a few of us in for the challenge. The more the merrier and the more likely we will succeed due to support.

          I am working towards it too. I do plan to have a couple of drinks on Saturday for my wedding anniversary celebrations. I am a modder so for me this is acceptable behaviour. The effort comes in keeping the drinks at a level I feel happy with.

          I have for the first time bought some L-Glut as in the six months I have been here I have never tried it and hear a lot about it. So, I thought it might be a good investment for the OCTOBER CHALLENGE. For those moments when it might be a little tough and lets face it, they happen.

          love to all and keep planning for OCTOBER...only one week to go, although my first day will be Monday 28th.

            Hi All,,,

            I'm on day 4 af and so badly want to have 30 days under my belt...

            Have my brothers' wedding on 24th oct and want to have a clear,steady mind and body by that time..
            No guilt,hangovers,shakes,sweats,self hatred,depression....and the list goes on!

                      OCTOBER CHALLENGE...

                      I'm still in for october, managed not to drink for some time now I don't particularly like counting, but coming up for 3 months, can't tell you how good it feels, I could never manage a day without, so if I can do it so can everybody else. 3 months ago I thought I would not be here today, but perseverance is paying off.                           OCTOBER CHALLENGE...

                          Hi all, I'd love to join...I haven't done 30days yet (although my drinking is at a point I'm mostly happy with) but for some reason I find this challenge extremely scary - I've tried & failed a couple of times.
                          So Moo, Rubes, LTG, Mammy, Annie, Paula, Tawnywitch, Hart & anyone else...I'M IN!!

                              this is really going to challenge me, I can stop for a few day;s but I have been having 1 or 2 glasses occasionally, I want to get to the stage where I can drink 2 glasses and stop, I think the October challenge will be a good thing, but it is scary.

                                OCTOBER CHALLENGE...

                                Hey all,

                                Count me in too! Sounds like there is serious commitment here and I need to seriously commit and be held accountable. I did 30 days in June and have been mooderating since, with a few over dos. This is my goal for now until the end of the year. I would like to get it out of my system completley and see what a longterm difference will make. 30 days AF was not enough for me, so I think 90 will be the way to go and then reassess.

                                I would appreciate as much help as I can get from MWO members. I find it difficult to connect and know I must make an honest effort to do so. I like the way Moo has tracked her journey here and appreciate the insight as it is similar to what I am thinking too. I have found it very soothing to write it down here. It makes it more real and serious; kinda like this is business now, so get a plan..

                                Babble, babble, babble. Anyway starting today no booze and either starting a diet with Weight Watchers or Best Life Diet. Anybody tried Best Life???? What I like about it is that there is a required commitment of no booze during the diet plan and an option to introduce it in the 3rd Phase.

                                Looking forward to hearing about everyone's personal journey in October. I hope we can learn something from one another and help too.
