    Patrick Swayze loses his battle with cancer at age 57....one of my all time favorite actors.

                        He was never gonna win. 57 is no age to die. So sad.

                          Forever, I am so sorry to hear about your child. I've faced it with my close family members, but never with my children, or grandchildren, but it is a constant fear.

                          Patrick Swayze, IMHO, personified grace and strength. I've loved his career (he was sex on legs in 'Dirty Dancing'), and always seemed to fight for good. During his 20 month illness, he personified that strength in his fight. In Feb this year he wrote an article for the Washington Post entitled "I'm fighting cancer. How about some help, Congress?" He will be missed.
