I've wasted bottles of molasses and sweet feed trying to give various supplements to some horses. The one that needed them most could pick around any pill or powder, get any piece of grain, any molasses, and little or no medicine. One time someone spilled dry cat food into the oat bin, I picked most of it out, and thought, "it's really just cereal, he won't notice, it won't hurt him," then came back and he's making like he's got something bad in his mouth, spits the cat food out, takes another mouthful, and does it again. Got all the oats though!
Non horse people don't always realize how expressive and funny they can be and that they can and do make faces! :H

I have been relocated to a hotel closer to the hospital. I take one bus to work; short ride. I had three days of orientation and now I am being assigned to my unit to start the night shift. I was offered day shift, but I would rather do nights until I get to know the hospital better. I am learning new skills, the hospital is beautiful. I have the next 4 days off, which I am not happy about. I know no one in Dallas, have no wheels and don't know how I will kill off the time.
