Hey Seacailin, I live in Fort Worth and would like to meet up with the gang. Blutzgar and I have a long overdue meet and greet. I start a new job tomorrow and will be BUSY as all get out, which is going to do wonders of keeping my mind off alcohol.

Hopefully the three of us can meet up for dinner somewhere. Alcohol is not invited.

Sea - Looking forward to meeting you too! You'll get to try fried butter at the Fair! Be sure to have a Fletcher's Corny Dog (the only kind that counts!) while there. LTG says there are fried gator kebabs as well. Haven't tried 'em myself.

No, I am a fair weather Cowboys fan only. The years when they suck I say screw 'em. Mostly I like Marion the Barbarian's dreads.

Jury duty was OK because we all got sent home after 2 1/2 hours. Except there weren't enough chairs, so I tried to sleep standing up. That takes a lot of energy, so now I'm really tired!

sunshine - no, they had twice as many people as expected. Apparently they usually get only get 1/4 of the people they notify, so they ran out of chairs. Don't try this unexcused however; I had a friend in another county who was actually arrested for that!

You need to visit Texas, girl! That's State Fair food, it's all fried, sort of a person's grease allotment for an entire year! We say since you walk for hours there, we earn it. Best to bring Tums or Rolaids anyway. :yukko: That and stay off the wild rides if you just ate! :H
