LA is about a 6 hour plane trip from NE. You could not find a more culturally different area from Nebraska than Los Angeles California. We are laid back..ie, flannel shirts, corraling cattle, etc. ...LA is the meca of fashion and entertainment.....You couldn't have picked 2 more different cultures in the same country. Good time to see the good and the better...I will let you decide what is the better! I lived in CA for 2 years and moved back to NE....missed the 4 seasons. I will let you decide if you can spare the time to come out to the Midwest.

So...what is for dinner everywhere else....we are having Angus beef (of couse) and I have macaroni cooked but cant decide if we should have LTG's mac and cheese or mac salad with all the fresh veggies......always decisions!

Got some fresh shelled lima beans, some green beans to steam and then toss with garlic and almonds sauteed in olive oil. Steamed fresh beets with the tarragon stuff in the recipe section. Tossed salad with a homemade hummus dressing. And God help me I've got the ingredients for cyclefan's squash casserole. I'm going to have to use drink tracker for her casserole! I wouold have had enough for a cup of leftovers but I feckin' ate it in the middle of the night!!!
