Hey Guys...you have absolutely NO IDEA how delighted I was to see this thread (thanks so much Marby for starting it.)

This thread means more to me than any of the ones about my AF time because..

Smoking has been the bane of my life for 20 years..I have tried hundreds of times to quit....literally hundreds...but I was horribly hooked....I smoked 2 cigs as soon as I woke in the morn (before I did ANYTHING else) and it was the last thing I did before bed at night.

Giving up the booze was so easy for me compared to this...I don't know why....I remember being one or two days smoke free in the past and picking a fight with Rob so I could get upset and go buy smokes.....I have hid them all over the place and used bottles of mouthwash to try to disguise the fact the I had failed again.

I know I won't smoke again now.....something has cracked in me and the spell is broken...I am unbelievably happy, I can't stop smiling, I feel wonderful and my skin looks great already..ooohhh and I put on 3 pounds too!! Whooohooooo

Thanks for your support guys, this has REALLY made my day and I do, for once, feel like I have earned it.

A woman (51 yrs) I know here quit about a month ago, and I swear she looks 10 years younger already. She was very skeletal- and now looks slim rather than scarily skinny!

It is the absolute WORSE thing we can do for our skin.
