This is just what I need. As I am out of work, and the ecomony continues to fail us over here, my husband has a long time buddy that is also down and out. Since I lost my job, the mortgage is tough to pay...brand new home for us! We are not kids. DH is 50, I am 40 and this potential roomy is also 40. I met the guy once. Nice guy...I met him just when the crisis thing happened with my little girl, so I was not up to socializing and kept to myself. I spent maybe 5 minutes with him while everyone was out on the deck. He does not drink. He does not drink, because he is an alcoholic. Sounds like the perfect roomy, huh? I know better. I can't say no because I am unable to contribute to paying the mortgage at the time.
Maybe we could all pile up in the car and drive (an hour away) to an AA meeting...yea, right.
I HATE this disease/allergy or whatever the hell it is.
(off the subject, for my weekend buddies, I will be attempting to cook again today. Don't be scared, just support me. I am going to the recipe boards. I have some ideas, but will require assistance so I don't burn the house down...again. Cookin with Colbe.)
