                          The two main factors that are keeping me on track this time are
                          • the absolutely certain realization that I CANNOT drink (the mod fantasy), to put it behind me and move on
                            and the support here (add the accountability factor)

                          To now have 2 more ladies who are exactly where I am at, is just a huge bonus (Thank you, musketeers). If I'd feel even the slightest temptation I'd look to them and draw from their strength. Really, that's true for everyone who has been more successful than me.

                            Hi RedHibiscus,

                            Ditto on what Sunshine said, and also, having read and read here, making the decision once to be AF, sticking to it and managing the decision, seems oh soooooooooo much easier than trying to moderate.

                            Never, ever once when I had too much to drink did I EVER intend for that to happen!

                            So I came to the conclusion that to try to moderate was just too dangerous for me.

                              Good morning to you all! Wow, Sunny and Sunbird I feel so famous now! Thanks for the Musketeer invite - I am so proud to join you guys!

                              What Sunny and Sunbird just answered about how we stay sober are my thoughts exactly. The realization and taking it seriously, the other just isn't an option ever, never ever ever.
