hi troops
how are you all?
been a bit busy these last few days mindin g'son and trying to get ready to travel home tomorrow morning for my dad's 83th birthday.
had to make sure enough clean socks, undies, ironed shirts for hubs, cause he doesnt know where washing machine, iron etc. are hiding in my house. i refused to do his shopping, he can eat supermacs as far as i'm concerned :H:H:H:H

Draggy, I spend about half my time alone at our cabin, since Hubs works ALL the time, and I do the same thing each time I leave (clothes etc.). Unfortunately, his parents live just behind us and they spend half their time at their lake house, but his mother makes it abundently clear she disapproves of me leaving her 'baby' alone without a cook!

not sure yet opes, havent booked my return yet, might'nt come back at all :H:H:H:H
but i think either tuesday or wednesday. i'll book my return ticket tonight with aer lingus.
flying out to eindhoven with ryan air to where my sis lives then travelling up to where my dad lives on sunday and he's only 20 minutes from schiphol, a'dam and ryan air doesnt go there they only do obscure little airports

oh rubes thats so sad, i was lucky, i had a loveley mum in law, mind you when ever she stayed with us she ran after him but after me and the kids as well and would never think of him as not capable to look after himself.
think its just me that has him spoiled cause he's always working

Hubs knows his mother is a nut, thank goodness. She and FIL are both 84, and VERY set in their ways. MIL caters to FIL's every whim, and, since Hubs is an only child, I told Hubs he better hope his mother outlives his father, 'cause I'm NOT pampering his selfish self! Sounds awful, but they are just not pleasant people.
