One more thing I just saw on TV (CNN) which is very scary. Text messaging in the car is twice a dangerous as drunk driving and using a cell phone (even hands free) in the car is as dangerous as drunk driving. I've done it and I believe what they say.

Dr Phil today
I noticed there's a show on Dr Phil today about drunk moms driving kids. I will watch. Although I don't normally drive drunk, I have been buzzed while having to drive kids home after an activity at night. Not any better I know, I have been fortunate, thank God. This is a much more common phenomenon in the US lately. Especially after the recession. It should be informative.

Dr Phil today
I saw a demonstration where they had people intentionally reach BAC over the limit and drive thru an obstacle course, and then had people drive the same course while texting or talking on their cell. It certainly doesn't excuse being DUI, but it is a scary thought since every time I drive through Atlanta GA on the interstates, more than half the people around me are on their cell.sigpic
Never look down on a person unless you are offering them a hand up.

I know what you mean Shi... I see so many people on the road talking on cell phones and it is very scary, makes you wonder how many drunk drivers there are out there. Although I must admit, part of me feels a little vindicated driving intoxicated. Both instances are not acceptable. The difference is that the alcohol is soooo much more stigmatized than the cell phone calling.
