Fickle, I Love it! All tanks should be so attired.
Angel, Glad you're enjoying good food month. I'm missing it this year, but will get there next year.
Whenever I had visitors from overseas I'd park at the opera house, put them on the ferry to Watson's Bay then hightail it over there, pick them up from the ferry give them lunch at the hotel there, then drive them round to Bondi. A lovely trip.
Only one more sleep here then I'm off overseas!

Once you are on hols and pop into an internet cafe it's really easy - they just ask for a few bucks (there is a time limit) and you google just like usual - they show you how if you need.
Will be thinking of you, you lucky thing!!

Oh, of course. Actually I mentioned to my FIL that there were no girls around...he said 'maybe it's too cold for them' and I said 'no, no they're out in their underwear in mid Winter looking very chilly'!!Ha!
I know someone who calls her boobs 'the girls'...sometimes she gets them out after she's had a few. Ridiculously embarrassing...one night I turned around to see she'd taken her whole top off...sitting there in her bra giving 'the girls' some air....oh God so humiliating (and no, it's not me who does this!!)

Well, MrCakes has surprised me with a night out tonight...dinner & a movie. V.sweet of him...think we'll see 'Sunshine Cleaning' at the Hare Krishna centre.

Rags - yes, we went to Watsons Bay. And don't do any banking at internet cafes. And have a fantastic time!!
Ficks - I've got some photos, will see if I can post them. The Cross is really a happening little place now - so cosmopolitan - but I feel a bit like a country gal in the big smoke after living in NZ for a few years!!

Fickle, thanks. Got it sussed how to do it. I am just so used to clicking the mouse and bingo... there it is! My mate Paul almost fell off his chair when I asked him how to do it! Now anyone who reads todays thread will truly know I am a computer knucklehead.
TAWNY et al: Yep, I'll see if I can't get on while I'm away. Sri Lanka is 5 hours behind OZ. India would probably be about 6.

Angel, enjoy the movie. Why not also have dinner at the Hare centre. Is this the one at North Sydney somewhere? It's ages since I've been to Govindas. But I have 2 Hare Krishna cookbooks. Their usual one plus "Cooking with Kurma" Remembre the series on SBS?

Rags we're going to the one in Darlinghurst. Thought about dinner there...maybe will. Love the food - have done a weekend retreat complete with cooking classes - actually we just cooked for everyone else there lunch & dinner for 2 days (under guidance) Was nice to give something back.

Hello All!

Well I'm here thanks to Tawny's invite! I'm in WA so hello all and what's the go?

Just saw the preview of the new Robin Hood movie with Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett,must say I am a big fan of all things historical/fantasy/sci-fi so am waiting for this one with avid interest! Plus I love both these actors!(Not just cause they're Aussies).

Russell Crowe was gorgeous as Maximus in gladiator, a real noble spirit! I know others will say otherwise, but I reckon he is lovely! Cate is beautiful and what woman would not want to look like her!!!!(All comments are kinda graciously accepted as long as they agree with me
